Hi, I’m Sim, and I’ve been pissing my family off with my opinions of our favorite TV shows since 2008. When I was 11, I was handed the first Harry Potter book and I’ve just never gotten over it, really.

So, of course, I have an English Literature Degree from the University of Alabama with Minors in Creative Writing and Latin—or as I like to call it, Magic Spells/Grammar from Hell, looking at you Passive Periphrastic Gerundive of Obligation.

I’ve been freelance editing YA and Fantasy novels since the birth of my first son left me glued to him (and the couch) in 2020.

In 2024, we moved our little family to Amsterdam, Netherlands. These days you can find me not falling off my bike and eating stroopwafels with my guys.
